Slowdown...

Well, the progress here has taken a bit of a back seat to the surprising amount of work I have done with my Tékumel miniatures, but I should mix it up.

I am still undecided on the color to paint the bases; once I finally make up my mind on that minor detail some of the bogles will be nearly complete.  Currently, I am thinking a mid-grey will work.  Also, the search continues for a uniform scheme for the lesquins, but nothing decisive there as well.

Pics, of course, when something gets done...

I generally try to paint bases as closely as I can to the color of the surface I will be playing on . . . so the bases will blend into the tabletop and it will seem that the figures are standing on by themselves.

That is the best idea, although for some reason it just does not compute in my head.

Thanks,

Re bases-
Grey ( for lamplighters) as for road And greeny ( for bogles etc) as for undergrowth etc?

Hmmm, that is an interesting idea, but I can imagine myself getting it all confused at some point!

Just one color will be best, and my original thought - a warm brown hue - won't work as it has too much contrast with the green cloth that I will be using.

Thanks for the thought, Alan!
